Hotel Maintenance Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Full-time Hotel Handyperson.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the resort's facilities, ensuring that everything looks great and is in top condition. This includes performing routine room maintenance checks, painting touch-ups, and fixing anything that may go wrong in a busy hotel resort.

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a strong communicator. The flexibility in the roster is important, working across 7 days including public holidays and evenings. Having a high standard of grooming and being able to pitch in and support teammates is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have some experience as a handyperson and a valid NSW driver's license to operate hotel vehicles. They will also be computer literate and able to communicate with people across all departments both verbally and in writing.

  • Maintenance duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor/Assistant Chief Engineer or their designated replacement.
  • Collaboration with other maintenance team members and responsible for quality and timeliness of work.
  • Taking initiative in all aspects of the Engineering Department and Hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of resort facilities.
  • Performing routine room maintenance checks.
  • Painting touch-ups and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Valid NSW driver's license.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to communicate with people across all departments.
