Labouring Position

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Labourer to join our team.

This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are physically fit and can handle manual tasks with ease.

As a Labourer, you will be responsible for completing a range of civil maintenance and asphalt labouring duties, working closely with your supervisor and colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Civil Maintenance: Complete manual handling tasks and apply skills associated with civil maintenance and construction projects
  • Toolbox Discussions: Participate in toolbox discussions to stay up-to-date with project information and best practices
  • Asphalt Labouring: Complete asphalt labouring skills and civil maintenance, including operating small plant items such as whipper snippers, whacker packers, mowers
Requirements
  • Literacy and Numeracy: Possess appropriate literacy and numeracy skills to allow comprehension of worksite documentation
  • Civil Labouring Skills: Demonstrate sound civil labouring skills using manual handling techniques
  • Accreditation: Hold Workcover General Construction Induction accreditation or be able to obtain prior to commencement
  • Driving Licence: Be able to attain Roads & Traffic Authority Controllers Certificate and LR Driver licence after commencement if not already possessed
