This is a permanent full-time position that will commence in Term 4, 2025 at Willetton Senior High School. The school has a vibrant, multicultural community that values diversity, academic excellence, and strong connections with local and international families.
The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating the Flexible Learning in Schools program, demonstrating exceptional organisational skills and a commitment to supporting student pathways. Ideally, the successful applicant will have prior experience and possess an excellent understanding of Vocational Education and Training, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the school's VET programs.
Main Responsibilities:- Liaising with students, parents, and Registered Training Organisations to assist in identifying and developing individual training pathways for Year 11 and 12 FLiS students.
- Sourcing tailored VET programs, securing suitable industry placements and ensuring compliance with departmental procedures.
- Facilitating student work experience placements, workplace visits, contributing to career counselling, and supporting students to achieve their post-school goals.
- Proven experience in using multiple school database systems.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, employers and parents.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to plan and coordinate activities. It is essential to have a working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
