We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Governance Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support and operational coordination.

The Role

This role will enable the facilitation and achievement of organisational objectives, serving as a focal point for matters requiring direct intervention from senior leaders.

About You

  • You will provide expert advice on diverse and complex issues and projects, establishing effective governance arrangements for executive leadership teams.
  • You will ensure the provision of appropriate secretariat support to facilitate effective operation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Liaison: Act as an executive point of contact, liaising with stakeholders and coordinating communications to meet deadlines.
  • Brief Preparation: Prepare briefs for executive leaders and management.
  • Communication Expertise: Prepare, manage and review high-level correspondence, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Strategic Advisor: Research and prepare strategic advice, information and reports on diverse and complex policy, planning and operational matters.
  • Collaborative Partner: Work closely with executives and subject matter experts to deliver timely and effective advice and reports.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • You will have extensive knowledge, skills and experience at a senior level in government protocols and procedures, including Cabinet and inter-government protocols and processes.
  • You will have experience in brief writing and supporting executive leadership teams.
  • You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
