Chief Rail Infrastructure Specialist

This leadership position oversees the optimization of key trackside subsystems, providing expert consulting advice on Traffic Management Systems (TMS), Digital Train Radio Systems (DTRS), Fixed Telecommunications Networks (FTN), Automatic Train Operations (ATO), and onboard systems.
The Associate Director will lead the ETCS Trackside works to achieve business objectives by owning functional deliverables and interfaces that meet key project milestones and performance objectives. This involves leading the engineering teams, providing technical guidance for the Trackside systems, and ensuring their integration with other sub-systems.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure all technical Trackside deliverables are completed in accordance with the System Integrator program and meet the required quality standards.
- Plan and execute support services for other teams, ensuring specialist advice is provided.
- Maintain a collaborative approach with clients and key stakeholders.
This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing key trackside subsystems, providing expert consulting advice in relation to TMS, DTRS, FTN, ATO, and onboard systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering on signalling projects, including leading engineering teams, and proven experience with ETCS.
We are seeking an experienced rail professional to join our team in NSW or QLD as an Associate Director for Systems Engineering & Systems Integration with a specific focus on ETCS Trackside. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex rail infrastructure programs, ensuring these systems work seamlessly together to enhance the safety, efficiency, and reliability of train operations for our clients.
Job Requirements- Strong background in engineering on signalling projects, including leading engineering teams.
- Proven experience with ETCS.
- Ability to provide technical guidance for the Trackside systems.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills.
