Job Overview

The position of IT Infrastructure Specialist is a highly skilled role that oversees and maintains the integrity, security, and efficiency of our data center infrastructure.

  • Manage and maintain all aspects of the data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and related hardware and software.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to plan and execute data center expansion, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to data center operations and IT infrastructure.

This role requires a strong focus on data center operations, occasional end-user support will be required. The ideal candidate will have experience as an Infrastructure Specialist with a focus on data center operations in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Requirements
  • Undergraduate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Specialist with a focus on data center operations in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux).
  • Expertise in network infrastructure design, configuration, and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with data center technologies such as SAN/NAS storage, blade servers, data replication, Cohesity and Veeam.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
