About the Role

The Project Officer provides support for inclusion and prevention activities, ensuring effective delivery of education, awareness, and engagement initiatives.

This role entails a range of project functions, including preparation of reports, meetings, communications, and planning of prevention program initiatives and project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop necessary documentation to support management and coordination of primary prevention programs.
  • Provide administrative and business support to the Incident Prevention team as required.
  • Review legislation, standards, and policy to ensure compliance with relevant authorities and best practice.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on induction and compliance training.
  • Plan and prioritize work, recognizing barriers to achieving outcomes and finding effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
  • Extensive, relevant experience and specialist knowledge; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience working in a complex organization with multiple policies, procedures, and practices.
Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and business support to the Incident Prevention team. This includes preparing reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation, as well as coordinating meetings and events.
