Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact in maintaining and enhancing quality assurance processes within forensic and compliance-oriented environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting internal and supplier audits, updating procedures to meet ISO standards, and managing environmental sampling and reporting lab results.
In addition, the candidate will perform trend analysis, recommend corrective actions, monitor risks, and continuously improve via the Event Record App.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance or as a Quality Officer, with experience working with standards such as ISO 18385, particularly in forensic or laboratory settings.
The role requires attention to detail, accurate event recording, proficiency in SharePoint and documentation management, and experience working in ISO8 cleanroom or classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal and supplier audits; update procedures to meet ISO standards
- Manage environmental sampling and report lab results
- Perform trend analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor risks and continuous improvement via Event Record App
- Prepare standard reports on quality outcomes
- Maintain supplier documentation and support reviews
- Oversee calibration and maintenance of equipment
- Review and update quality procedures aligned with operational changes
- Assess product/process risks to ensure compliance
- Support development of new forensic products and kits
- Record quality data using approved databases
Requirements:
- Background in quality assurance or as a Quality Officer
- Experience with standards such as ISO 18385, particularly in forensic or laboratory settings
- Familiarity with manuals and processes related to food safety or forensic applications
- Attention to detail and accurate event recording
- Proficient in SharePoint and documentation management
- Experience working in ISO8 cleanroom or classroom environments
- Solid organisational and planning skills, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid communication skills (verbal and written)
- Solid computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to adopt new technologies to support business improvement
