Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Strategic Social Impact Specialist to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social challenges and opportunities facing cities and communities across New South Wales.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, analysis, and data collection to inform social and strategic planning outcomes. They will also provide input into projects, including social impact assessments, community needs assessments, and social infrastructure strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify key social trends and challenges.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to address these challenges and improve social outcomes.
- Communicate complex ideas and recommendations effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality project reports and proposals.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant social science discipline.
- Experience in social planning and/or strategy, preferably in a consultancy or local council environment.
