We are seeking a candidate to fill the role of Operational Assistant, working in a fast-paced environment with our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking orders from various building materials by hand and forklift
- Stock Replenishment by hand and forklift
- General cleaning and yard maintenance
- Providing customer service, including cutting timber, steel, plywood, and loading customer vehicles
Requirements:
- Reliable transport
- Be over 18 years old
- Fit and healthy enough for manual tasks
- A written CV with at least one contactable work reference
Desirable Skills:
- Timber and building experience and knowledge
- Forklift license (although not essential)
- A great attitude and reliability
- Previous customer service experience
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Initiative and hard work
Working Conditions:
- Casual position
- Hours: Tuesday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm
