Estimator Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced estimator to join our team in a full-time estimator position based in Bunbury.

This role will involve preparing accurate Bills of Quantities and cost breakdowns from construction plans, supporting tender preparation and submissions for new build projects, liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing and negotiate best-value outcomes, and collaborating with Sales and Construction teams to manage cost variations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates for residential construction projects.
  • Support the development of tenders and proposals for new build projects.
  • Engage with suppliers to negotiate the best possible prices for materials and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project costs and timelines.
  • Monitor construction progress using Click Homes and update tasks as required.
  • Provide estimating support for display home builds as needed.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and assist with minor negotiations.
  • Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to established procedures and protocols.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 12 months of experience in residential estimating.
  • Prior exposure to residential construction in Western Australia is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Blue Beam, Excel, Word, Costing Manager, Data Build & Adobe is essential.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Candidates with a background in scheduling are encouraged to apply.
