Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team at NewyTechPeople for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will work closely with our product owners, developers, and key stakeholders to define and implement technology solutions that enhance digital banking services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for development teams.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
  • Lead workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, assess solution options, and drive decision-making processes.
  • Support the development and implementation of digital banking features such as mobile apps, online banking platforms, and digital payment systems.
  • Develop data flow diagrams, user stories, and other documentation to clarify requirements.
  • Work with QA and testing teams to validate system changes and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, security standards, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in digital banking or financial services.
  • Available for a 6-month contract with potential extensions.
  • Ideally have an understanding of digital banking platforms, payment systems, and mobile banking technologies.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in business process modeling, data analysis, and requirement documentation (e.g., BRDs, FRDs, user stories).
  • Familiarity with API integrations, cloud technologies, and fintech innovations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and identify creative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in delivering digital transformation projects within a banking or financial institution.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence or Trello.
