We have multiple campuses located across Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane, educating over 6,000 students annually. As a Senior Academic Instructor for our Master of Social Work (Qualifying) program, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and delivering the curriculum. Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with the Higher Education Standards Framework and providing an exceptional learning experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging face-to-face teaching sessions, as well as create relevant learning materials for assigned subjects.
  • Develop and maintain study guides, webinars, and assessment instructions for various subjects within the program.
  • Provide personalized study assistance to students in different modes, promoting their academic success and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student assessments and adhere to established moderation policies.
  • Identify students who require additional support and collaborate with them to establish tailored learning plans, when necessary.
  • Ensure timely maintenance of subject sites on our Learning Management System.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • PhD in Social Work or a Master's degree in Social Work, accompanied by at least 5 years of teaching experience.
  • Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating tertiary subject curricula and teaching materials.
  • Ability to coordinate and administer the successful delivery of tertiary subjects.
  • Strong professional ethics, resilience, and a collaborative approach to both teaching and industry engagement.
  • Thorough understanding of social work theory and practice.
