Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our facilities team as a maintenance team member. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to assist with the upkeep of our grounds and buildings.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining schedules, work orders, activity logs and equipment histories. They will also be expected to support the cycle of daily tasks throughout the school, including garden and building maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining schedules, work orders, activity logs and equipment histories
  • Supporting the cycle of daily tasks throughout the school
  • Assisting with garden and building maintenance tasks
  • Developing positive working relationships with team members
  • Working with limited supervision
Requirements:
  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors
  • Experience in gardening and building maintenance
  • Ability to maintain schedules, work orders, activity logs and equipment histories
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the work environment of a school
  • Awareness of the need for security in relation to buildings, grounds access, personal property and equipment
  • Eligibility to work in Australia and current Blue Card
