Senior Insurance Oversight Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Insurance Oversight Analyst to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of the Insurance and Claims team, you will be responsible for implementing and improving the Insurer Oversight Framework, mentoring junior analysts, monitoring insurer performance, and representing us in insurer service meetings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Insurer Oversight Framework.
  • Mentor and guide the Insurance Oversight Analyst to develop their capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze insurer performance through regular audits, reviews, and data insights.
  • Represent us in insurer service meetings, advocating for improvements that benefit our members.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure oversight standards are upheld.
  • Produce quarterly insurer reports and provide actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in financial services or life insurance and claims.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw sound conclusions.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and provide constructive feedback.
  • Deep understanding of risk management and compliance principles.
  • Familiarity with Risk Management Frameworks and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and project delivery skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a collaborative mindset.
