Job Title:

Event Marketing Manager

Role Overview:

This role involves planning and executing national events, managing marketing activities, overseeing digital presence, and engaging with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conference and event management, strong organisational and communication skills, and proficiency with various tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute national events, including venue selection, program development, sponsorship engagement, and on-site delivery.
  • Coordinate marketing activities, oversee digital presence, and engage with stakeholders.
  • Produce marketing collateral, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Maintain and update websites to ensure they are engaging and current.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in conference and event management, preferably in the healthcare or not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, proficiency with Mailchimp, LinkedIn, Canva, and website CMS platforms.
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise workload, meet tight deadlines, and work remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in managing meetings, developing agendas, writing minutes, and achieving outcomes.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, good team player who can collaborate in a close-knit team.
