This is a diverse position where you'll contribute to shaping the state of data across the business.

You will be part of a growing team of curious learners and play a key role in driving Nova Entertainment's growth through various projects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to understand data sources, improve data capture, access speed, and data quality.
  • Partner with engineers to transform analytical ideas into automated processes and robust datasets for dashboards and reports.
  • Analyse data from various touchpoints to drive product insights and optimise advertising outcomes.
  • Communicate complex analysis clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Tasks
  • Perform data analysis to support business performance tracking, including regular and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Work with diverse data sources and platforms, integrating them where needed and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Use strong technical skills to query, clean, and transform data into meaningful datasets.
  • Apply analytical thinking to interpret trends and patterns, using statistical techniques where relevant.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations and compelling data stories.
Requirements
  • Degree in science, engineering, IT, mathematics, statistics or another quantitative discipline.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools; quick to learn new tools if needed.
  • Hands-on data experience from internships, projects or roles involving data processing, cleaning and basic analysis.
