We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to unlocking community knowledge. As a mid-level data expert, you will play a crucial role in driving business decisions through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions that meet business needs.
- Work closely with engineering to define data needs for new initiatives, supporting schema design, QA, and launch phases.
- Partner with finance and operations to establish success metrics and recommend strategies for improvement.
As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and usability by cleaning, transforming, and analysing data. You will identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, providing actionable insights that inform business decisions. Additionally, you will build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations for stakeholders, including data-driven storytelling. You will also mentor business stakeholders on best practices for data analysis and tools.
Requirements:- A minimum of 3 years' experience in data analytics (or similar role) within a tech or internet company is required.
- Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in data modelling, CDP tools, and BI platforms are necessary.
- Knowledge of dbt, LookML, and Python is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences are essential.
This is a full-time position based in Sydney, requiring technical savvy and effective communication with the business.
