We are seeking a skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the group, you will play a crucial role in streamlining financial processes and providing actionable insights to drive business growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing statistical models to analyze market data, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and executing trading strategies across various financial instruments
  • Analyzing large datasets using advanced statistical techniques and programming languages such as Excel, MATLAB, Python, and R
  • Evaluating the performance of trading strategies and making recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborating with colleagues to implement insights and market analysis contributing to the overall success of our trading team
  • Developing and implementing risk management models using Value-at-Risk (VaR) analysis and Monte Carlo simulations
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in performing similar tasks in a financial services company
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field such as finance, economics, or mathematics
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
