Service Operations Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Service Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our child safety services, you will play a vital role in delivering effective services across your designated region.

In this dynamic and challenging role, you will have the opportunity to lead recruitment and establishment processes, supervise key staff, and support workplace health and safety, governance, and stakeholder liaison activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the recruitment and establishment of new initiatives and programs.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • A current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment).
  • A satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Experience working in child safety, youth justice, or family support service environments.
  • A qualification in public administration, management, human services, or a related field.
