Producer Role:

The role of a producer in a television newsroom involves overseeing the production of live and pre-recorded programs. This includes coordinating with writers, directors, and other crew members to ensure that all elements of the program are completed on time and to a high standard.

As a producer for The Morning Show, you will be responsible for developing and creating high-standard segments. You will also be responsible for pitching, developing and creating entertaining and informative segments for The Morning Show and across Seven's Morning Television Department.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a producing role, in a radio or television newsroom. They will possess excellent writing skills and an eye for detail and accuracy. They will also be able to respond to breaking news and contribute innovative ideas and a passion for entertaining and engaging television content.

About this role:

This is a permanent position with a 45-hour week shift pattern. You will work closely with our team of producers, writers and directors to develop and produce high-quality programs. You will also be responsible for managing budgets and scheduling, as well as ensuring that all production elements are of a high standard through to broadcast.
