Senior Journalist

We are seeking an accomplished journalist to join our newsroom as a Senior Journalist, covering breaking news and producing impactful television stories. Our fast-paced team is looking for someone with strong news judgment and excellent communication skills.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A deep understanding of the TV news landscape and exceptional storytelling abilities.
  • The ability to work under pressure and make quick editorial decisions.
  • Proven track record in television news reporting and proficiency in non-linear editing systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of local, national, and international current affairs.

As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for pitching, researching, and producing original news stories for broadcast. You will also report live on breaking news events and take the lead on complex stories from concept to broadcast.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be highly motivated, proactive, and able to cultivate contacts. You will also need to have strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
