Position Overview
The ICT Security Analyst plays a crucial role in safeguarding and enhancing the organization's information systems. This position involves identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities while collaborating with the ICT team to manage daily operations of existing security measures.
- Engage in the strategic planning and design of enterprise security frameworks, guided by the Cyber & Information Security Manager, as necessary.
- Contribute to the development of enterprise security documentation, including policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures, under the supervision of the Cyber & Information Security Manager, as required.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in the ICT Security sector, including emerging security solutions, enhanced security processes, and new attack methodologies.
- Oversee the monitoring of SIEM, logs, and reports.
- Assist in investigations and responses to security incidents.
- Take part in the design and implementation of vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Provide assistance to the Service Desk for end-user security solutions.
- Lead and assess the effectiveness of security awareness training programs.
- Ensure operational configurations of all deployed security solutions align with established standards.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT Infrastructure, with at least 3 years in ICT Security.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Familiarity with Fortinet Firewalls and other security technologies.
- A solid understanding of computer networking and cloud computing.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in executing tasks in high-pressure situations, with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Capable of conducting research on IT security issues and products as needed.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player with experience in working within a cooperative environment.
- Fully aware of the organization's security objectives as outlined by its policies and procedures, and committed to achieving those goals.
