About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team at the City of Rockingham. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our information assets and critical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, monitor, and analyze systems and networks to ensure security services and controls are operational and configured for optimal outcomes.
  • Coordinate the City's cyber security testing programs and awareness training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Information Security principles, best practice standards, and guidelines.
  • Considerable experience in the identification and management of IT risks and security vulnerabilities.
  • Tertiary qualification in Cyber Security or Information Technology.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $97,537 to $103,141 per annum.
  • 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%.
  • A variety of health and wellbeing programs, including physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 per annum.
