Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Manager to lead our training initiatives.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, with experience in managing and guiding teams.
  • They will be responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating dealership development and training activities.
  • This includes keeping up to date with training opportunities for dealership personnel, arranging training as needed and collaborating with various departments to understand their specific training needs.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the content design and implementation of all in-dealership training, ensuring training programs and materials are regularly updated to reflect product changes and continuous improvement.
  • In addition, they will be responsible for expanding dealership utilisation of electronic learning platforms such as webinar, eLearning, and blog.
  • They will also be responsible for monthly user participation reporting to ensure that dealerships are meeting pre-determined targets.

About You:

  • We are looking for someone with a passion for training and developing people.
  • They should have sound experience in the training or automotive industry, and hold university qualifications or an automotive trade background.
  • The ideal candidate will also have advanced knowledge of mechanical and technical aptitude, and display strong familiarity with automotive dealerships.
  • They should have an advanced understanding of the training process and environment, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exhibit demonstratable leadership experience, showcasing achievements that mirror learning and development functions.
  • Possess proven history with design, development, and delivery of training systems, including eLearning.
  • Be motivated to expand skills and knowledge to allow development and delivery of training materials and programs across a range of areas.
