
Postnatal Care Leader

The position of Midwifery Unit Manager is a leadership role that requires effective management and strategic direction in providing maternity care to women.
Responsibilities include managing the 32 bed postnatal unit, 7 day per week MITH Service and 6 day per week Lactation Service. This is a part-time opportunity with a current job share arrangement in place, working 0.8 FTE set days across the fortnight excluding every second Friday and Monday.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing effective midwifery leadership and strategic direction
- Managing our multidisciplinary team providing maternity care
- Leading the provision of best practice immediate and extended postnatal care to women and babies
Required skills and qualifications include a Masters qualification in Midwifery Leadership or Health Services Leadership (or working towards). The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes.
