Support Specialist Consultant

About the Role:

This position involves working closely with field assessors to implement competency frameworks and policies. The successful candidate will be involved in building the capability of these individuals through hands-on coaching and mentoring.

  • Develop and deliver induction programs for new field assessors, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our policies and procedures.
  • Manage the training and development needs of existing field assessors, including tracking their progress and completion of assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and maintain effective assessment frameworks.
  • Contribute to the analysis and improvement of our internal processes, focusing on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
About You:

We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in supporting and implementing change management initiatives. A strong understanding of governance processes, competency frameworks, and principles of effective assessment is essential.

You should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. Additionally, you should be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other relevant systems.

  • A deep knowledge of RTO Standards, AQF, TAC, and best practice VET compliance.
  • Proven experience in project management, problem-solving, and research.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor staff and communicate effectively through various formats.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to complete within 12 months.
