Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth.
During this exciting time at Fortescue, with innovation projects changing the way we work in mining, we are currently seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor with substantial High Risk Training experience to join our team. This position will provide the Training and Assessing requirements to our site teams.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitation of High Risk Operations Training and Assessing
- Delivery of Fortescue specific Training and Assessments including Verification of Competency Assessments
- Maintain accurate and compliant training records, including digital training matrices for personnel, to ensure needs are met
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision
- Well organised and excellent time management skills with strong attention to details
- Hands on approach to teamwork, positive attitude and superior customer service skills are essential
- Current Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment
- WorkSafe Assessor Accreditation
- Proven experience and specialist skills in the specific high-risk work areas being taught
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Mining practices and technical systems with the ability to train content in a professional manner
- Licensed to train and deliver
- Dogging (DG) HRWL
- Forklift (LF) HRWL
- Crane (CN / CV) HRWL
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) HRWL
- Working at Heights (NUOC)
- Confined Space Entry and Gas Testing (NUOC)
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- SAP / LMS experience highly regarded
