Implementation & Assessor Support Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to support the implementation of competency frameworks and policies within a large public transport organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Field Assessors through coaching, mentoring, inductions, and ongoing training to ensure effective application of competency frameworks and policies.
  • Manage and coordinate inductions, competency records, and internal development programs for Field Assessors, while tracking completion of training and assessment requirements.
  • Facilitate understanding of competency frameworks and processes across the business by conducting validation sessions, updating frameworks, and reporting on progress.
  • Work closely with the Competency Manager to implement change strategies, develop communication plans, and ensure new processes are consistently applied throughout the organization.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of competency frameworks, governance principles, and principles of effective assessment.
  • Proven experience in supporting and implementing change management in complex environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of RTO Standards, Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), Training Accreditation Council (TAC), and best practice VET compliance.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, project management, research, and managing competing priorities.
  • Sound knowledge of current State and National training systems, issues, and legislative requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, mentor staff, and communicate effectively through written and verbal formats.
  • Proficient in using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant workplace systems.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to complete within 12 months); a diploma or higher qualification in adult education is desirable.
