This role is an exciting opportunity to work as a psychological therapist in a dynamic multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions for adults with eating disorders across hospital and community settings.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary level qualifications in psychology, including current full registration in NSW with the Psychology Board of Australia and AHPRA. They will also have demonstrated skills and experience in working with people with eating disorders, as well as evidence-based skills in the provision of assessment, formulation, and group and individual treatment.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct triage, assessment, and develop treatment plans within outpatient eating disorder services.
- Deliver individual and group psychological therapy tailored to adult consumers.
- Collaborate on care planning, clinical consultations, and maintain integrated care continuity.
- Engage consumers and families using recovery-oriented, trauma-informed approaches.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a PBA recognised undergraduate degree in Psychology including completion of Internship.
- Current full registration with AHPRA, PBA Psychology Board of Australia.
