About the Role

The Mental Health Clinician will work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver psychological interventions for individuals with mental health disorders.

The role involves providing individual and group therapy sessions, developing assessment and treatment plans, and liaising with other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering focused psychological interventions to clients across various age groups and teams
  • Planning and implementing assessment and treatment services
  • Developing and implementing group programs as required
  • Liaising with other professionals and participating in supervision and team meetings

Requirements:

  • A minimum 2 years of supervised experience in mental health
  • A minimum 2 years of relevant professional development or supervision
  • Experience in delivering cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based interventions

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline (e.g. social work, psychology, mental health nursing)
  • Membership of an appropriate professional body (e.g. AASW, AHPRA)
  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
  • Driver's license
