Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Funeral Services Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with families to plan and coordinate meaningful funerals that reflect their loved ones' lives.

Responsibilities

  • Guiding families through the funeral planning process, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
  • Coordinating logistics, including venue selection, flower arrangements, and music choices.
  • Working collaboratively with celebrants, clergy, florists, drivers, and other professionals to ensure a smooth and respectful service.
  • Running the service on the day, managing timing, logistics, and support for families.
  • Taking care of legal documentation and administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Kindness, empathy, and understanding when working with grieving families.
  • Confident communication skills to effectively manage relationships with diverse groups.
  • Able to work in structured and sensitive environments, prioritizing attention to detail.
  • An unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and after-hours.
