Casual Funeral Assistant

Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia Hs Full time

As a casual Funeral Assistant, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting Funeral Directors during funeral services
- Meeting and greeting guests
- Operating AV equipment
- Setting up and cleaning our venues, and vehicles
- Driving one of our fleet vehicles (Family car, hearse, van)
- Respectfully transferring deceased people into our care
- Full unrestricted drivers license
- Willingness to work after hours and on weekends as required. (After hours shift penalties apply)
- Good physical fitness as the work can be physical including assisting with coffin bearing, conducting transfers, gardening, and maintenance duties
- Good communication skills

Desirable criteria
- Proficiency in computer and admin skills
