We're looking for someone special who wears compassion like a uniform. This person should have empathy in their bones, an eye for detail and a calm can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding families with compassion and clarity from first contact to final farewell.
  • Coordinating funeral arrangements venues, flowers, music, the lot.
  • Working with celebrants, clergy, florists, drivers, and other humans.
  • Running the service on the day logistics, timing, support and presence.
  • Driving our vehicles with dignity yes, sometimes the hearse.
  • Taking care of important legal documentation and admin.
  • Being a warm, calm presence when people need it most.

Requirements:

  • Kind, steady and able to hold space for others.
  • Confident communicating with people from all walks of life.
  • Comfortable in structured, sensitive environments.
  • Juggle details without dropping the ball or the flowers.
  • Handle the occasional curveball with grace and calm.
  • Unrestricted driver's license and a clean record.
  • Happy to work on a weekend roster or after-hours when required.
  • Experience in events, hospitality, customer care or funerals.
  • Knowledge of funeral traditions, venues or logistics.
  • Able to carry a coffin soothe a grandparent and still smile at the end of the day.
