**Child and Family Support Specialist**This role involves working with vulnerable children and young people to provide support and guidance. You will work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people.The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Main Responsibilities:
  • To provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in out-of-home care.
  • To work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualised case plans.
  • To identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact on the child's wellbeing.
  • To provide education and training to carers and families on relevant topics such as child development, trauma and attachment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in social work, youth work or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and young people in an out-of-home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
