**Child and Family Support Specialist**This role involves working with vulnerable children and young people to provide support and guidance.   • To provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in out-of-home care.
  • To work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualised case plans.
  • To identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact on the child's wellbeing.
  • To provide education and training to carers and families on relevant topics such as child development, trauma and attachment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in social work, youth work or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and young people in an out-of-home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
