Job Title: Strategic Project Coordinator

The Workforce Policy and Coordination Directorate is seeking to establish a pool of Senior Project Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the specified period.

Role Description:
This role will work on initiatives to address the strategic workforce priorities of the public schooling system. The successful candidate will use their analytical skills, initiative and substantial knowledge of education workforce matters to provide clear and timely advice to management.

Responsibilities:
  • Use project management skills and experience to support workforce initiatives across all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise and consult with a range of stakeholders, including school and system leaders, universities and other organisations.
  • Provide clear and timely advice to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated substantial knowledge of current workforce issues, trends, policies and processes in relation to projects, programs and initiatives for educational outcomes in Western Australia.
  • Demonstrated highly developed research, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated highly developed program and project management skills.
