Support Worker Position

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in the community. As a Support Worker, you will be supporting people with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, assistance in the community and being a companion.

  • As a support worker, you will also be responsible for supporting clients with personal cares, assistance with mobility and prompting with medication.

You will have the opportunity to work with clients living at home in Shepparton, Mooroopna, Tatura and surrounding suburbs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (essential)
  • Current and valid Driver's Licence and insured, reliable motor vehicle
  • Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
  • Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
