Job Description

The role of Senior Managed Services Information Security Analyst is a critical position within NTT DATA's global cybersecurity team. This expert-level position involves monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting client data to deliver security information and recommendations that enable organizations to meet their contracted security services.

This includes tasks such as security incident detection and response, security event reporting, threat hunting, content maintenance (tuning), and interacting with clients to ensure understanding of generated information. Additionally, the role involves recommending client system changes and answering security-related queries from clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works in a global Cyber Defense Centre (CDC) team on rotational shifts.
  • Tunes MSSP platform and client SIEM for efficient detection, analysis, and reporting with client stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Reviews and analyzes security logs from client environments using security tools.
  • Generates continuous improvement ideas for supported security tools/technologies to enhance company services, employee experience, and client experience.
  • Adheres to SOPs, customer Run Books, and standard processes for consistent delivery while proposing improvements.
  • Utilizes and documents best practices, updating existing documentation as needed.
  • Identifies opportunities for automation benefiting clients and security delivery teams.
  • Handles security incidents end-to-end from various vectors.
  • Applies broad skills in LAN technologies, Windows and Linux O/S's, and general security infrastructure.
  • Ensures knowledge article usage in incident diagnosis and resolution, assisting with updates as necessary.
  • Participates in threat hunting activities across individual client estates and cross-client hunting.
  • Supports client delivery teams with activities related to client delivery.
  • Collaborates with colleagues to share knowledge and build a cohesive team environment.
  • Assists with major incident management processes and escalations into the team.

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Advanced knowledge of implementing and monitoring SIEM or security tools/technologies/concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge of security architecture and working across different security technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of modern computer systems and networks' vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and proactive thinking.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
  • Security certifications like AZ-500, SC-200, Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or similar certification in networking technologies CCNA, JNCIA, ACCA, PCNSA, CCSA is advantageous.

Required Experience:

  • Advanced experience in SOC Analysis Operations.
  • Advanced experience in SIEM usage for investigations.
  • Advanced experience in security technologies such as Firewall, IPS, IDS, Proxy.
  • Advanced experience in handling technical support for clients.
  • Advanced experience in security incident handling end-to-end.
  • Advanced experience in configuring/managing security controls like SIEM, Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR, NDR, UTM, Proxy, SOAR, Honeypots, and other security tools.
  • Advanced experience in security analysis or engineering preferably in a global services organization.
