Project Administrator

We are a national business and a leading industry professional committed to the development of commercial staff across the region. We seek a dedicated Project Administrator to join our dynamic team on a high-profile Education Project based on the Gold Coast.

This role is an opportunity to contribute to the production of documents and plans that govern project delivery, ensuring they align with project, business, and legislative requirements.

  • Contribute to the safe and successful delivery of site works in line with quality and efficiency frameworks.
  • Review and understand project specifications and drawings, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Complete accurate scopes of work for subcontracts, including review and approval of subcontractor plans.
  • Ensure agreements between clients, subcontractors, consultants, and other third parties align with project, company, construction, and legal requirements.
  • Engage with activities undertaken on site, reviewing and understanding short- and mid-term programs for the project.
  • Administer project management, change, and control processes in compliance with project and site requirements.
  • Facilitate the development of junior staff and foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Identify trends, contribute to lessons learnt, and support continuous improvement of the business.
  • Undertake allocated training and further own professional development.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need demonstrable experience in delivering successful projects in a similar role within the commercial construction space. A good understanding of quality management practices and project planning principles is also essential.

  • Comprehensive understanding of project cost control, including margin, cash, risk, and opportunity.
