Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert civil engineering services for large-scale infrastructure projects, liaising effectively with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors as needed.

  • Contribute to proposal development and project coordination tasks as required.

  • Support business growth initiatives and establish a strong reputation within the Queensland Transport team, particularly in the Sunshine Coast area.

  • Facilitate a culture of growth, learning, and achievement among a team of civil engineers.

  • Nurture trusted relationships with clients, driving new work opportunities and positive outcomes.

  • Collaborate effectively with public and private sector clients to deliver high-quality projects that meet their needs.

  • Manage various project aspects, including administrative, commercial, and technical components.

  • Prepare and review technical reports, ensuring clarity and precision.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering or similar) degree qualification.

  • A minimum of 4 years of technical experience in pavement engineering, with knowledge of Australian standards and practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with public and private sector clients.

  • Strong project management skills, backed by hands-on experience.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
