Job Description:

As a Senior Civil Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Queensland communities by creating and reviewing civil design drawings and documentation for land development, infrastructure, and urban projects. This is an opportunity to collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to deliver smart, practical solutions that bring projects to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and review civil design drawings and documentation for land development, infrastructure, and urban projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Engage with stakeholders including councils, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Mentor junior designers, sharing expertise and lifting team capability through knowledge transfer and coaching.
  • Ensure quality and compliance by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Civil Engineering Design or related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in civil design with a focus on land development or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, Music, 2FLOW, and Civil 3D software.
  • Knowledge of local authority standards and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines, with a strong attention to detail.
