Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team as a Senior Legal Counsel.

About the Role

This is a critical role within our organization, requiring the provision of expert legal advice across corporate, commercial, regulatory and operational matters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on corporate governance, mining, employment, procurement, and compliance
  • Supporting mergers and acquisitions, takeover activities and divestment transactions
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex legal agreements
  • Monitoring and assessing compliance with legislation, ASX Listing Rules and regulatory developments
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to promote strong governance and risk management practices

The successful candidate will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to manage legal risk across the business and support strategic transactions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across all levels
  • Ability to deliver pragmatic, commercially sound legal advice in a dynamic business environment
  • Tertiary qualification in Law and admitted to practice in Western Australia
  • Strong working knowledge of the legal regime applicable to mining and exploration in Western Australia
