As a dedicated electrical interface specialist, you will play a key role in our growing substation team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of our project meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic partnerships with OEM suppliers, clients, and consultants through effective project management.
  • Collaborate with the Project Delivery Team to ensure energy supplier connections meet electrical standards and requirements.
  • Liaise with OEM suppliers and subcontractors to understand their needs and concerns, maintaining effective relationships throughout the project.
  • Ensure compliance with third-party agreements and disseminate requirements to relevant Network Operator team members.
  • Contribute to the project schedule of works and progress monitoring, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop solutions to minimize impact on third parties while maintaining commercially effective project delivery.
  • Maintain effective relationships with third parties to avoid disputes and commercial compensation claims.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical equipment, ideally in substations.
  • Problem-solving / analytical skills, with ability to identify and address complex issues.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of layout and primary equipment for substation projects up to 500kV.
  • Proficient with various software tools, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, etc.
