Administrative Support Opportunity

At Grampians Health, we are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to provide administrative support to our clinical unit/program. As an important member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the team.

Casual Bank staff will need to be available for at least 3 days a week when cover is required from Monday to Friday. This allows you to have an opportunity to work across a variety of locations at our Ballarat campus around your nominated availability. Shifts can be offered within short time frames, therefore to be considered for this role you must be living in the Ballarat region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality administrative support• Maintain accurate data entry into required software systems• Maintain accurate availability in our electronic rostering system and accept shifts based on availability• Be flexible to work across a variety of locations and shift times• Participate in annual performance reviews• Commitment to ongoing mandatory education

Requirements:

• Demonstrated high-level communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals• High-level computer skills are essential for this role, with particular emphasis on accurate data entry• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain a strong attention to detail• Demonstrated ability to function within a team• Demonstrated person-centred care and respectful approach to patients, visitors, and staff• Prior experience in a health setting would be advantageous but is not essential• Current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
