Job Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees in accordance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
- Ensure compliance with Australian awards and superannuation requirements.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including leave and superannuation contributions.
- Support payroll reporting and reconciliation tasks as needed.
- Respond promptly to payroll-related enquiries from staff and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within payroll operations.
Key Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in Australian payroll processing within a professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including superannuation and taxation.
- Attention to detail and high-level accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle queries effectively.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work a Thursday, Friday, and Monday week schedule.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
