Job Title: Knowledge Curator

The Knowledge Curator plays a vital role in our educational institution, overseeing the management and administration of libraries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the library's integrated management system, including WorldShare Library Management System and WorldCat Discovery.
  • Enhance the online presence of MLC Libraries by collaborating with Teacher Librarians and academic staff to support teaching, learning, and research needs.
  • Provide high-level reference and information services to staff and students.
  • Administer budgets relating to library technology and online resources.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Library and Information Sciences (eligibility for ALIA Associate membership).
  • Experience in managing automated library systems, reference databases, and digital resources.
  • Strong cataloguing knowledge and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, web editing (HTML5, CSS), and emerging digital technologies.
