Investigation and Review Officer

We are seeking an experienced professional to conduct thorough reviews under the Right to Information Act 2009 and provide expert advice and support.

  • This role involves assisting in fulfilling responsibilities under various legislation, including the Right to Information Act 2009 and the Ombudsman Act 1978.
  • The successful candidate will conduct reviews and negotiations with senior managers and officials of public authorities.
  • They will also provide timely and accurate advice to public authorities and the public on the operation of the RTI Act.
Requirements
  • A law degree or other relevant tertiary qualification is essential for this position.
  • A current driver's licence is required for this role.
  • Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Registration Status - Employment) is necessary.
