We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as an occupational therapist or speech pathologist.
Job Description- This is a unique opportunity to work with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families to deliver evidence-informed solutions that are person-centred, family-focused, and customer driven.
- As a member of our therapy team, you will work in partnership with participants and their families to identify strengths, areas of need, and develop support strategies that build capabilities and align with their interests.
- You will meet participants in their community setting to work on transferable skills that shape their everyday lives.
This role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people on the autism spectrum.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or speech pathology are essential.
- 1-3 years of experience in speech pathology or occupational therapy is preferred.
- Experience in disability services is a plus but not required.
- A self-starter eager to deepen skills in neurodivergence is ideal.
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or willingness to obtain is necessary.
- Current driver's license, use of own vehicle for work (reimbursed per km), and willingness to travel locally is required.
- Keen to work itinerantly in the community, building strong participant relationships is a must.
Successful applicants will provide their statements of service for remuneration assessment.
