Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist and Speech Pathologist, you will work with individuals on the autism spectrum to support their daily lives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work in partnership with participants and their families to identify strengths, areas of need, and develop strategies that build capabilities and align with their interests.
  • Meet participants in their community setting to work on transferable skills that shape their everyday lives.
  • Support participants in developing skills for daily living, education, and employment.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or speech pathology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in speech pathology or occupational therapy.
  • Experience in disability services is an advantage but not required.
  • A self-starter eager to deepen skills in neurodivergence.
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or willingness to obtain.
  • Current driver's license, use of own vehicle for work (reimbursed per km), and willingness to travel locally.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
  • Working with Children Check for paid employment in your state.
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You'.
