Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to join our team and assist customers during the Christmas period. This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to make a difference in people's lives.

This position involves supporting individuals with their day-to-day living, providing quality care in supported independent living accommodation settings. You will provide direct support across a range of customer needs, including domestic and personal care assistance, as well as helping them access community services.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to work shift work, regular sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays. Resilience, confidence, and strong communication skills are essential. You must also be able to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop positive relationships with customers and colleagues alike. You will receive training and induction to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to customers with their daily living needs
  • Assist customers to access community services and activities
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve customer goals
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues
Requirements
